I also bought the second book shortly after I got the first one cause I started ready it and thought " Hey this is alright..might as well read the rest of them too "
So I got lucky and happend to finish up reading just a few days before the Movie came out on DVD. I was kinda excited to see the movie after enjoying the book but...I was a little let down.
I mean don't get me wrong it was a good adapt of the book and they did a fab job..but it left....something to be desired.
I felt it was a little too rushed
Like in the book it kinda goes over a little more time and she slowly starts to figure out what he is and then falls for him. In the movie she meets him and " BAM" figures out hes a vampire and "BAM " they are in love. I know its a movie and they had to cut a lot of part out cause they can't make the movie as long as the book is..but they left out a lot of very GOOD key parts from the book that kinda ties a lot of things togather.
I felt they left a lot of very good lines in the book out of the movie too.
I noticed in the extra's they had a deleted scene were Bella and Edward where standing in the forest and he said the line " So the Lion falls in love with the lamb " Which is a paticular line that I happened to like and I know a lot of people who read the book where probly hoping to hear in the movie as well.
I don't know thats just me! I own the movie now as well as the book but I did enjoy the book a little better. I ACTUALLY FINISHED IT ...which is suprizing cause I usually don't finish books. I'll start them and then put them down and somewhere in there forget to pick them back up again. or by the time I do I forgot what I had been reading about before so i have to start all over again.
What did you all think...anyone like the movie better then the book? Any parts you did or didn't like about the movie?
